Digital Xtra is seeking to appoint two new Trustees who will help guide the charity, shape our strategy, and support our fundraising work.

We are a registered charity whose goal is for every young person in Scotland to have access to innovative, meaningful, and creative extracurricular computing activities regardless of their gender, background, or where they live. The aims of Digital Xtra are to:

• Inspire the next generation to understand and innovate with technology, not simply use it, by increasing the provision of high-quality extracurricular digital skills activities
• Enable exciting, meaningful digital skills activities for young people across Scotland with a particular focus on underrepresented groups and underserved areas
• Engage our Industry Partners in supported activities, giving industry experts and young people the opportunity to connect in informal and creative settings

We achieve these aims by raising funds from the private and public sector before awarding annual grants to schools and community organisations allowing them to start up or scale up local coding and tech clubs.

We are currently seeking two enthusiastic and committed Trustees who will help guide the charity, shape our strategic direction, and support our fundraising work. We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in charity and/or grants management or those with strong connections in the digital technologies sector (and/or related industries).

You will join seven other Trustees on our Board including representatives from the public, private, and third sectors who share a common interest in supporting young people and digital skills.
