Digital Xtra is a registered charity whose goal is for every young person in Scotland to have access to innovative, meaningful, and creative extracurricular computing and AI activities. Since 2016, the charity has supported a wide variety of initiatives and activities for young people across Scotland.

University of the Highlands and Islands
The University of the Highlands and Islands Digital Lend-A-Lab programme gives educators an opportunity to engage learners with digital tech through a variety of micro:bit based activities. The Labs include all the equipment, activities, and training required.
Scottish Council for Development & Industry
SCDI's Young Engineers & Science Clubs will provide young people in Glasgow an opportunity to investigate energy usage in their school or home and then use the micro:bit to create a solution to reduce their consumption

Support from Digital Xtra Fund will enable SCDI to expand its innovative project to two more local authorities – Argyll & Bute and Moray.
Argyll & Bute Council
Argyll & Bute Council will establish an extra-curricular digital learning Hub based in Dunoon that will benefit hundreds of local young people. The Hub will provide a dedicated technology space and access for pupils to cutting edge digital technology.
