Digital Xtra is a registered charity whose goal is for every young person in Scotland to have access to innovative, meaningful, and creative extracurricular computing and AI activities. Since 2016, the charity has supported a wide variety of initiatives and activities for young people across Scotland.

CamCare UK
CamCare UK will offer STEM enrichment opportunities in ten Local Authorities across Scotland to foster curiosity and confidence in young innovators aged 7 to 16
Edinburgh Science Foundation
Edinburgh Science Foundation will deliver activities featuring Marty the Robot across their Primary, Secondary, and Festival channels. Over 4,000 young people across multiple Local Authorities will have a chance to programme Marty to walk, dance, and even navigate an obstacle course.
East Lothian Council (North Berwick Library)
North Berwick Library in East Lothian will be creating a new Girls in Gaming Club, in a safe and informal environment, to engage and teach young women about skills and careers in the gaming sector.
Scottish Council for Development & Industry
SCDI's Young Engineers & Science Clubs will provide young people in Glasgow an opportunity to investigate energy usage in their school or home and then use the micro:bit to create a solution to reduce their consumption
Knox Academy
Knox Academy in East Lothian will train S1–S6 to become Young STEM Leaders. Learners will have the opportunity to use Sphero BOLT and RVR robots, Marty the Robot, and micro:bits on their digital journey. Later in the year, students from Meadowpark will also have an opportunity to learn with the equipment while the micro:bits will be used as part of the school's P7 transition events with local primary schools.
Athelstaneford Primary School
Athelstaneford Primary School will create a coding club for students, who will then subsequently record and share their lessons for other primary schools in East Lothian.
ComputerXplorers
ComputerXplorers will introduce S1 pupils in East Lothian to coding through exciting and engaging workshops.
Preston Tower Primary School
The Digi-Ninjas Coding and Robotics Club for P1 to P7 learners will give young people an opportunity to learn to code using the Sphero BOLT+.
