Digital Xtra is a registered charity whose goal is for every young person in Scotland to have access to innovative, meaningful, and creative extracurricular computing and AI activities. Since 2016, the charity has supported a wide variety of initiatives and activities for young people across Scotland.

Edinburgh Science Foundation
Edinburgh Science Foundation will deliver activities featuring Marty the Robot across their Primary, Secondary, and Festival channels. Over 4,000 young people across multiple Local Authorities will have a chance to programme Marty to walk, dance, and even navigate an obstacle course.
Eastertoun Primary School
Eastertoun Primary School in West Lothian will create coding and robotics activities for their pupils, as well as other primary schools in their cluster, using LEGO Education’s SPIKE Prime range and Sphero BOLT and indi robots.
Scottish Council for Development & Industry
SCDI's Young Engineers & Science Clubs will provide young people in Glasgow an opportunity to investigate energy usage in their school or home and then use the micro:bit to create a solution to reduce their consumption
Knightsridge Primary School
Knightsridge Primary School in West Lothian will develop a series of new after-school clubs to teach the basics of coding and computational thinking to children of primary school age using the curriculum and robots developed by Root Robotics.
Inveralmond Community High School
Inveralmond Community High School is one of the new fast-paced projects to hit the track. Funding will enable Inveralmond to become Scotland’s first F1 in Schools Centre for Excellence.
West Lothian Digital Learning Team
The West Lothian Digital Learning Team will collaborate with three primary schools to offer a Technology and Coding Club for learners in P6-P7 over a six-week period.
Riverside Primary School
Riverside Primary School in West Lothian will run a VEX GO STEM Club for P5 to P7 students. Participants will learn about coding, algorithmic thinking, loops and functions, and problem-solving as well as working with motors and sensors. They will then use these skills working in small groups to undertake the VEX GO competition before creating their own ‘in-house’ competition.
Linlithgow Primary School
Linlithgow Primary School in West Lothian will deliver the Digital Leaders: Robotics and Coding club for P5 to P7 learners
Falla Hill Primary School
Pupils in P5, P6 and P7 will have an opportunity to take part in a new Creative Coders Club
