CamCare UK
CamCare UK will offer STEM enrichment opportunities in ten Local Authorities across Scotland to foster curiosity and confidence in young innovators aged 7 to 16
Midlothian Council
Midlothian Council, in collaboration with Volunteer Midlothian, will continue to rebuild their tech offering for young people with three new clubs.
Lasswade Primary School
Lasswade Primary School in Midlothian will offer a new coding club for their younger pupils using Blue-Bots.
Edinburgh Science Foundation
Edinburgh Science Foundation will deliver activities featuring Marty the Robot across their Primary, Secondary, and Festival channels. Over 4,000 young people across multiple Local Authorities will have a chance to programme Marty to walk, dance, and even navigate an obstacle course.
Scottish Council for Development & Industry
SCDI's Young Engineers & Science Clubs will provide young people in Glasgow an opportunity to investigate energy usage in their school or home and then use the micro:bit to create a solution to reduce their consumption
Heart of Midlothian Football Club
Heart of Midlothian Football Club will be expanding their range of free digital education programmes for young people with the addition of an App Development Club for young people in S1 and S2.
Harrysmuir Primary School
Harrysmuir Primary School will upskill both educators and learners by creating a series of fun, engaging and diverse learning experiences.
Flummix
Flummix is looking to increase awareness and inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs with a specially designed course aimed at developing digital technology skills in the eCommerce sector
dressCode
The philosophy of dressCode is showing girls how to do, not what to do, and empowering them to design the game or website that they want
Midlothian Council and Volunteer Midlothian
The project involves the use of Libraries for the delivering of Code Club activities, using senior secondary school pupils and adult volunteers, working with Midlothian Library employees as the trainers/hosts.
